Permanent (Immigrant) Visas

The Firm has vast experience with the necessary procedures for acquiring U.S. permanent residence. We deal continuously with various government agencies to ensure that all appropriate steps for acquisition of immigrant visas are followed. In the employment context, permanent residence is generally obtained through acquisition of employment-based first, second and third preference classifications. When applicable, waiver of labor certification is obtained to expedite the approval process. As circumstances permit, petitions for permanent residence based upon other preference categories are filed, depending upon applicability and related time-sensitive concerns. We typically partner with the Human Resources Department and/or hiring manager on each matter to develop simplified strategies for practical use in successfully completing the green card process.
